About the Role

PMCS is looking for experienced, API-certified inspectors to join our field inspection team. In this role, you will perform pressure vessel inspections per API 510, storage tank inspections per API 653, piping inspections per API 570, and other inspection services for process facilities in the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, and industrial manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for on-site inspection execution, NDE application, and the delivery of thorough, code-compliant inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal and external inspections of pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems per applicable API codes
  • Apply NDE methods including UT, MT, PT, and visual testing as appropriate for each inspection
  • Document inspection findings accurately and completely in written reports delivered on-site
  • Calculate corrosion rates and remaining life for inspected equipment
  • Communicate findings clearly with facility teams and PMCS operations staff
  • Maintain inspector certifications and stay current with applicable codes and standards

What We're Looking For

  • API 510 certification required; API 570 and/or API 653 preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of field inspection experience in process or industrial environments
  • Proficiency in ultrasonic thickness measurement and visual inspection
  • Strong written communication skills for inspection report preparation
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage on-site inspection activities
  • Willingness to travel to client facilities as required
